This course provides a broad knowledge base in all the essential skills of computer science and information technology and incorporates specialist study in an area of your choice. It covers all key skill areas important for modern computing, such as object-oriented programming and networking, and incorporates specialist study in a major of your choice. Graduates of this program are in high demand among employers in computer graphics, e-Business, information systems, IT project management, software development and web development.
The Diploma of Information Technology Professional Practice may be undertaken as an extra year. This gives you the opportunity to develop your skills as you study with a one year of industry training, generally undertaken after 2 full-time years of study.

Diploma in Information Technology Professional Practice (C20049)
The Diploma in Information Technology Professional Practice is available to students enrolled in c10148, c10219 and C10239. Once subject pre-requisites have been met and students have secured an approved position in the IT industry they may enrol into this program and undertake their industrial training.
